Reflection is a powerful tool.  It will help highlight what went well and perhaps what didn’t quite work out.  Even though it may not have been the best week or two, take the wins and let the struggles guide next week’s efforts, instead of letting them pull you down ⬇️.

This is life and life is rarely optimal so why are you kicking yourself for not being at that level 💭?

Even though the above statements don’t appear too drastic, these kinds of things can really throw people off-course.  Doing something will always be better than doing nothing at all, even if the something is occasionally 20% 📊.

Don’t be hard on yourself.  Do what you can when you can and keep gathering momentum 🌀.

What can you do next week to improve?  That’s more important than dwelling on how last week ended ⛔️.

Set your sights on what’s in front of you now and take action over the things you can control ➡️.

What do I need to work on 🤔? Sometimes it can What do I need to work on 🤔?

Sometimes it can feel like there’s a long list of things you need to work on and it can feel daunting and overwhelming 😵‍💫.

I’d look to find and address areas that would likely fall into the priority box 📦:

- What’s holding you back from moving forward?
- What holds the highest risk of causing issues if you don’t start addressing it?
- What is likely to have the biggest impact in the short term?

This can be a helpful process to filter out the stuff that needs attention from the pile of things you can put to one side for now ➡️.

Narrow it down to 1-3 problem areas max and get to work 💪🏼.

Our joints are designed to allow us to move our bo Our joints are designed to allow us to move our bodies in an infinite number of ways ⚛️.

Perhaps we are most efficient in moving ourselves and/or external load in a linear fashion, but what happens when we expose ourselves outside of those patterns 🔲?

If you only bend your knees to 90° max (ie typical squatting, lunging, sitting in a chair) then your knees will likely not deal too well with being taken to angles and ranges outside of that ⚠️.

But a knee can do a hell of a lot more outside of 90°, it’s just a case of gradually building up their exposure to the things you want them to do and deal with 📈.

What I’m showing isn’t necessarily where someone would start, but some examples of what human knees can cope with given the time and consistency ⏳.

Wondering where to start?  Perhaps some knees circles would be a good place for most and expanding outwards from there ✅.
